Introduction

BDRCloud is a comprehensive cloud-hosted backup and disaster recovery platform designed for businesses and service providers. BDRCloud has now been relaunched as a more cost-effective cloud platform with more flexible storage options to reduce storage fees and provide greater affordability.

This BETA program allows users to experience the new platform, provide feedback, and help us improve the service.

During the BETA phase, multiple updates may be released, and existing backup jobs may be suspended or permanently deleted, which means recovery of previous backups may not be possible after patch roll-outs. We will communicate any planned updates in advance.

Key Points to Note

  • Non-Production Use Only: Do not use BDRCloud BETA to backup critical production data
  • Data Availability: Backup jobs may be suspended or permanently deleted as part of the BETA process, and data may not be available for recovery
  • Multiple Releases Expected: We plan to roll out multiple releases during the BETA, which may introduce new features, changes, or bug fixes
  • Possible Service Interruptions: There may be unexpected downtime, feature changes, and system updates during the BETA
  • No Data Guarantee: Data stored during the BETA is not guaranteed to be recoverable or accessible after patch roll-outs. We will notify you of any updates that may impact data availability

  • Support Availability: Please note that priority support may not be available, and response times could be longer than usual due to ongoing updates and testing. Additionally, as BETA updates may impact data availability, assistance with data loss or recovery issues related to BETA patch updates may be limited
